World Animal Day 2013 Needs YOU!

World Animal Day is on 4 October. Not long to go but there is still time to get involved and show the animals you care by doing something special to celebrate this special day. It doesn’t matter how small or large your event is, it’s getting involved that’s important.

World Animal Day is not linked to any one individual, organisation or campaign, it belongs to everyone!

Visit the World Animal Day website at www.worldanimalday.org.uk to find out more and to ‘Submit’ your event for publication on the website. Note: you need to register as a user before you can add your event – it’s a free service.

The World Animal Day initiative is a wonderful way to heighten public awareness of animal issues and connect millions of animal lovers around the globe. Increased awareness of animal welfare issues cannot fail to eventually lead the way to improved standards of animal welfare throughout the world. What an achievement that will be!

If you are unable to organise your own event, you may be able to support another event taking place near where you live. We also encourage all visitors to the site to visit the Pledge Board, under ‘Get Involved’, and make a pledge for the animals to share with the world.

So what are you waiting for? Visit www.worldanimalday.org.uk today to see how you can ‘Get Involved’.
