Over 30 Dogs Found Living in a Bungalow

More than 30 dogs discovered in a bungalow were said to be feeding on a diet of whole rabbits.

The RSPCA took away 22 rottweilers and boxers, including 16 puppies.

One pup with a bad eye infection was destroyed.

A woman of 42, her husband, 30, and a girl aged five live at the property.

The couple were arrested for alleged animal cruelty but were allowed to keep 11 dogs.

A police spokesman said: “It appears the dogs were being fed whole rabbits.”

A neighbour in Hailsham, near Eastbourne, said: “There is a constant problem with barking.”
