Kiba’s doing much better :)

Hello everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve been on here but I’ve been so busy with the puppy and school that I just don’t have much free time lately. Well to say the least, Kiba (my now 4 month old husky pup) is doing much better then the last time I wrote on here for help. He was finally diagnosed with giardia and was treated twice since the first time I only treated him and not all the other dogs but now everyone is giardia free.. and man that’s a hassle to get rid of. I’m not quite sure how much he weighs now but he’s almost half the size of our full grown aussie and his paws and already the same size as her’s. The only thing I still worry about is his body shape and muscle tone.. he is growing fast though, about twice his size every two weeks but he’s still really skinny and doesn’t seem to have much muscle tone, and his coat looks and feels poor like his body’s not absorbing enough nutrients. Since he went through severe maternal undernutrition before and after birth I guess it’s a bit normal since he didn’t develop many muscle fibers before birth but I am doing everything I can to get him healthy and strong. I changed his food a couple of days ago (he was on puppy chow) to 2 different types of Ol’ Roy Brand foods mixed together and I can already feel and see a difference, plus he seems to eat a lot less with this food. Before he could eat 4-6 cups of food in one shot and eat about the same amount 3 times a day or so but now he’s down to about 2 cups every time he eats. I’ll be off to see the vet soon for a full examination and I’ll keep you posted on how he’s doing whenever I get the chance πŸ™‚

This is a picture of him at 3 1/2 months
