Kennel Club ‘Deeply Concerned’ About Conditions of Accredited Breeder’s Dogs

The Kennel Club has spoken out about their deep concern following the discovery of 100 St Bernard dogs belonging to one their founder Accredited Breeder Scheme members.
The dogs were found abandoned at a kennels in Northamptonshire.
However there is some confusion about why the dogs were left. Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident.

In the meantime, K9 Magazine spoke to the Kennel Club and asked them if they felt their much touted Accredited Breeder Scheme had been robust enough in this instance. The Kennel Club told us:
The Kennel Club is deeply concerned to hear about the alleged conditions that the dogs belonging to Mrs Collis have been found in and her apparent disappearance.
The Kennel Club has only ever received positive feedback about Mrs Collis via the feedback forms returned to us by her many puppy buyers and a routine inspection of her premises by an Accredited Breeder Advisor […]
