Following a 12 month search to track down and celebrate the UK’s top veterinary practices, we’re delighted to announce the winner of this year’s prestigious Veterinary Awards 2014 (as voted by a growing gathering of the UK’s most in-the-know pet owners).
It’s pleasing to note that our blossoming reputation as a discerning ‘must-have’ annual award meant that this year we received more reviews than ever (literally thousands) at www.goodvetguide.co.uk from an eclectic collection of clients who took time out from their busy daily schedules to highlight some of the incredible work
that goes on in surgeries up and down the country to meet the ever-changing needs and demands of today’s pets and their owners!
This year the surgery with the highest average user rating in 2014 was Cherrydown Vets in Basildon, Essex.
Director of the practice, Jonathan Nurse says, “All the staff at Cherrydown Vets are thrilled to have won this award, especially as it has come about through the glowing testimonials of our clients. The team works hard to give 24 hour care to all our ‘family of pets’ and it is wonderful they are receiving this award in recognition of all their efforts throughout 2014. We look forward to building on our success and giving even better service through 2015
Sarah Deadman of the Good Vet Guide said: ‘As you would expect, the competition for Practice of the Year was fierce. Cherrydown Vets showed great consistency over the year and an unswerving commitment to delivering outstanding care. They were routinely praised by their clients not just for their clinical excellence but also for their great customer care. Cherrydown embody everything that is good about veterinary care in the UK and we look forward to seeing whether they can successfully defend their title in 2015 against stiff competition.’
Speaking on behalf of the award sponsors, Nutriment Raw, Suzanne Brock commented: ‘Nutriment was built on the non-negotiable notion of providing a comprehensive range of the healthiest, best balanced RAW pet food recipes in the UK. Our award-winning recipes use only human-grade meat & veg (and no cheap fillers) and are geared specifically at helping reduce the number of vet hours that the UK’s growing pet population has to endure. It’s reassuring to know that when the veterinary surgery is the only solution, awards like this are doing their bit to raise the profile of the very best veterinary practices in the land.’
