survey results are out, the high rate of success is close to the failure rate of postive training found in a scientific study comparing positive traing to two other methods, positive training was also responsible for significantly higher saliva cortisol stress levels, the other two methods had a 92.9% success – 76.2% success – positive training 7.1% success and showed significantly higher stress levels than the others.
The Electronic Collar Manufacturers Association Survey 2009:
97% of those questioned said their pet was either happy with, or neutral about, the collar.
71% of those questioned believe that the collar has saved the life of their pet.
95% of those questioned said the collar solved the problem.
96% of those questioned said there were no ill effects on their dog.
