Ears – random Q.

Right, some breeds have erect ears, and some have floppy. But some have floppy-ish naturally and then they get taped so they set erect, right? Like chinese cresteds for example. And others have erect naturally and get ‘tipped’, yes? so the top bends?

Spaniel-type ears aside, which are too heavy to stand even if some weird person wanted them to, could dogs with naturally floppy-ish ears have their ears trained as a puppy to stand upright? Can all erect-eared dogs potentially have their ears trained to flop, or just have the tops flopped over?

I muse odd things when I am trying to avoid thinking about wedding photographers, I admit. But now I’m curious.
