Dog Owners Make 2012 Resolutions

Britain’s dog owners are vowing to up their game in 2012 according to research from K9 Magazine.

Amongst the more popular pledges made by owners are

1. Teach dog to come back when called (every time)
2. Stop dog from jumping up at house guests
3. Teach my dog some new tricks
4. Stop my dog from chasing other dogs at the park
5. Get my dog to lose some weight

K9 Magazine’s survey quizzed 500 dog owners on what new year’s resolutions they would be making for their pets in 2012.

  1. This is very interesting. While New Year is a popular time to make resolutions I do mine during the Dog Days of Summer which I celebrate on June 21. I use New Years as a halfway point to see how well I am doing.
