Did Anti-Dog Vigilante Go On Park Poisoning Spree?

Moscow residents who use a popular dog walking park have set up monitoring patrols after it emerged that up to 40 dogs have been deliberately poisoned.

The owners of the poisoned dogs believe "dog hunters" are to blame for the poisoning spree which has claimed the lives of their much loved pets.

Dog ownership has grown considerably in Moscow inline with growing economic status and whilst park areas are rare to come by, the dog's owners are concerned that anti-dog elements have set about poisoning the pets as they fear roaming dogs may present a danger for children.U

As many as 70 dogs are said to have lost their lives to the poisoners in a spate of separate incidents which has lead to a police investigation.

It is suggested the dogs have eaten meat laced with poison, scattered around October park in the country's capital.
