Crufts Back on TV (sort of)

The niche satellite broadcaster More4 has picked up the poison chalice that is Crufts TV coverage. The RSPCA withdrew from the event – calling it cruel – as did the PDSA, Dogs Trust and the BBC dropped the show from its schedules over the same welfare concerns. But More4 (owned by Channel 4) obviously doesn’t share the same animal welfare concerns, a decision that will surely attract criticism for the channel.
