Celebrities Help to Raise over £100K for Canine Partners

A host of celebrities turned out last week for a prestigious fundraising event at The Imperial War Museum on behalf of Canine Partners (Registered Charity No. 803680), a charity specialising in providing highly trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities. Star guests at the auction led by Lord Hindlip, which raised over £100K, included Baroness Thatcher, Lord Tebbitt, Kirsty Allsopp, Clare Francis and Martin Clunes.
Two hundred and fifty guests attended on the night, which was orchestrated by a group of tireless volunteers led by Lady Pearson of Rannoch, to raise vital funds to support the ever growing number of people with disabilities that are applying for a Canine Partner.
