Canine Partners Gets Royal Visitor

His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO today visited Canine Partner???s (Registered Charity No. 803680) National Training Centre in West Sussex. The assistance dog charity???s Patron spent his time in Heyshott meeting potential new applicants, experiencing a demonstration of the dogs in action as well as seeing how the new on-site training facility is progressing.

He was accompanied by the new Lord-Lieutenant for West Sussex, Mrs Susan Pyper.
Canine Partners has this year seen an increase of over 50% in the number of dogs trained since 2007. The team look well placed to continue this growth, with plans to produce 50 new partnerships in 2009. Next year???s opening of new on-site accommodation for residential training courses will significantly improve the service delivered to applicants and completes the current phase of building, opened by The Duke of Gloucester in 2005.
