Butcher’s Pet Care Crown Britain’s Champion Pet

After months of searching for Britain’s Champion Pet, a two-year old Border Terrier named Gracie owned by Aleksandra Bekker from Abington in Northamptonshire, has been crowned the winner.

Pet food firm, Butcher’s Pet Care, launched the search on its Facebook page where pet owners were invited to enter a photograph or video of their animal in seven categories which included ‘Most Energetic’ and ‘Naughtiest Pet’.

The public then voted for two weeks selecting their favourite in the ‘Grand Final’ which included the winners of each of the seven categories.

Gracie’s winning entry was judged by independent judges Brian Lowe, founder of Heart of England Dog Shows and Mike Mullen, dog behaviourist and Crufts’ judge.

Congratulations Gracie from all at DogNews.co.uk!
