Do you remember the bit when the contestants stood in front of a puzzle and competed against each other to finish in the fastest time?
Well, we have been having our own version of that as my husband bought Cherry and Parker another one of those brilliant Nina Ottenson board games as it was reduced in a pet shop.
AS we now have 2 games I made Cherry sit at one end of the room, Parker at the other and put the games in front of them. When I say "treats" that is their release signal to go to the game and try to get the treats out. It was really funny watching them-I actually enjoyed it more than the dogs!
The first game we bought them for Christmas but we had a bit of a kerfuffle as Cherry beat up Parker over it. It was all my fault too as I know she can be possessive over high-value things. Cherry had her turn whilst Parker was out of the room and then vice-versa. When Parker had got all the treats out my husband said pick the game up and I will let Cherry back in. I said it was ok as all the treats had gone. When Cherry came in she saw "her" game on the floor and Parker sitting next to it and duffed him up! Jame accidentally pushed me trying to get Cherry off him and I sat there crying whilst Parker wobbled like a jelly for five minutes-yes Happy Christmas memories!
To be fair she normally is fine with him and that is only the 2nd time she has had a go in 6 years. (the other time was over a bone).
Has anyone else got one of these games? Which one would you reccomend?
